Day 1: Departure

Arrive in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. Travel to La Fortuna at night.

Day 2

La Fortuna is a small town in Costa Rica, northwest of the capital, San José. It’s known as a gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park. This day will be spent hiking and exploring eco resort.

Day 3

The second day in La Fortuna will include a visit to:
  • Arenal National Park
  • La Fortuna waterfall

Day 4

Travel to Monteverde, a town in mountainous northwestern Costa Rica, known for its biodiverse forests in the clouds. There are multiple options for activities to choose from including zipline and coffee plantation tours. Stretch Tourism will work with you to select option.

Day 6

Tamarindo is beach town located on the west northwest coast of Costa Rica. Some eco-friendly activities that may be done in Tamarindo and neighboring beaches include, watching turtles during their nesting season, diving, snorkeling, surfing, zip-lining, horseback riding and fishing. Snorkeling will be included in your travel package, however, there will be time to choose your own adventure if preferred.
